Storage Manager (m/f), Parbhani in Parbhani, Maharashtra

Your tasks:
- Resolves shipping problems, including customs paperwork and other issues, ensuring timely delivery of products and develop/improve processes to maintain highest levels of customer service by vendors
- Manages Inventory Control, reference standards and publication shipping storage groups
- Checks fulfillment of Reference Standards and publication orders on daily basis, ensuring accuracy of substance and quantity ordered
- Provides recommendations for improvement and ensures inventory accuracy including adjusting inventory for breakage, obsolete, and cycle counts items as needed toremain leader in industry standards
- Manages all vendor relationships including shipping carriers
- Analyzes overall performance of group and makes recommendations for improvement to increase employee productive or create cost saving steps for the department
- Ensures that all fulfillment functions are properly recorded in ERP system and that accuracy of the inventory is correct
- Establishes appropriate qualitative and quantitative metrics for productivity on shipments, receipt and distribution and measures progress
Your skills:
- Coaching and feedback, motivating teams, handling conflict, and driving performance for results
- 5 years relevant experience in distribution and inventory control
- Knowledge of sound principles of supervision
- 2 years of supervisory experience of a distribution team required
- Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills and be proficient in the use of computer software
- Prior responsibility for departmental budget
- Must possess ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Dynamic, proven leader with the ability to effectively motivate staff
- Must possess strong problem solving skills
